The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel has a small graceful body. The dog stands about 12 to 13 inches at the shoulders and weighs about 13 to 18 lbs. They come in 4 standard colors, Blenheim (chestnut and white), Tricolor( black, white and tan), Ruby (solid red) and Black and Tan. No one color is better than or valued more than another, it is simply a matter of preference. They are clean, intellignet and easy to groom and train. They do not require a great amount of care. A good brushing once a week will work. A bath once monthly will suffice. The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel has a kind and gentle dispositoin.
